During the years I get many e-mails, telling about how you can use the needle felting. Now I got two e-mails that I find so interesting that I want to show them to you and I have got the permission to that from Linda Mosmann from Germany who wrote these e-mail about how she uses the needle felting with a group of people suffering from alzheimer. You can read the article if you click on "article" at the menu.

At last I can write about this quite new machine that Jessica von der Fecht from Germany has invented. The machine is a little hand-tool called "addiQuick" that can felt 3-D and it will be in production from September.
It is really a typical invention story with all the troubles, hopes and disappointments you can imagine.
Jessica has worked on the machine for 4 years and contacted me a year ago to ask if I would judge her machine if it could be of any use for me. She came to me here in Denmark to demonstrate her machine and I tried it. I was a little doubtfull if I could use it, but when I tried it I could see that it was not only saving me for many movements of my hand, but it was also able to give another needling effect than you can with your own movements because it works so very fast with the needle, so you can move it sidewards like a painting brush. I will still work with the needle in my hand, but I am sure this machine will be useful for many things.
You can read more on Jessicas website and her blog.

It has really been a flying start I have got on having private students at my workshop. A week after that Luigina from Australia had finished her course, then Kathy from Ausralia came and wanted a private course. It is a complete different way of teaching and I look forward to teach the next two students that already have signed.

Kathy with her little theatre doll made on the course (6½hour)

-and it was fun
