During the summer I have made experiments with needle felted portraits of women and for that I have developed a new technique that makes the faces look like painted pictures but still a with textile look

Doll Of The Month – October 2014

Doll of the month for October is this old woman, who is inspired of the middle age and has this medieval look. First of all the inspiration came from the wool I have used for her hair. It looked so much as the hair of an old woman and as I started to braid it, I could see that it would be perfect for an old distinguished woman, with a lot of story “in her”.
