Delayed pictures from my exhibition at Tuse Naes Kunsthaandvaerk

The autumn season 2016 was extremely busy with 3 exhibitions right after each other.
Here I show pictures from one of these.
I was very glad to have the opportunity to make this exhibition with the theme “women”.

Photos from the exhibition “Felt in Nature”at Fjordgaarden

The opening of the exhibition “Felt in Nature” showed that there was a big interest for this exhibition. Here I show you how all the masks and dreamcatchers looked when they were arranged in the nature.

Exhibition at Fjordgaarden

September the 3. my exhibition “Felt in nature” opens at Fjordgaarden, that is an experience and learning farm that grows organic food. The place where the farm lies is really beautiful, lying down at the fjord. On the farm they have all the animals there used to be on a farm the old days and among them gotland sheeps.

My second course with woman s portraits

Now I have had my second course with the new technique I developed for making women s portraits. It has been very very interesting to see how good results the sudents get. None of them had ever been drawing or painting a face before and then it is really surpricing that they can make a needle felted portrait. Another thing that is surpricing is that many of the portraits looked more or less like the photo the students had brought and that was really not expected -only that the students made a personal portrait.

The local newspaper “Nordvestnyt” has visited my workshop.

From my course with women portraits.

During the latest two years I have been working intence with needling different women portraits. I have developed my own techniques and have used it for big exhibition works as well as just studies of interesting womens expressions.
There has been very much interest about these portraits and my students have asked for courses with this tehnique. Therefore I had to make a version of the technique that has made it possible to to make a potrait on a course even though the students had never tried to make a face before.

Notice from a blog, telling about my studio.

The other day I had a visitor at my studio who wanted to tell about my work on his website www.holbaekantik.dk
You can visit Carsten Jensens website and see his fine photos.

Pixie parade 2015

Here´s a parade of pixies from this year. Some have been made for a shop in Copenhagen, some are made for people who come to my workshop, some are just pixies that i make so people can buy them in my workshop.
This year I found a new variation, where the pixies are crawling up or down a little rope I made for
