I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".

The Christmas season has already started here in Denmark and I have started the season with this pixie as the first one. Every year when I make the first pixie I have forgotten how nice it is to see these little persons get alive and I prepare the special mix of red colors so I get exactly as much “life” in the red as I like.

I must also find the right white raw fleece for the beard and here I use blue-faced Leicester. A pixie must have a good warm skin color and blushing cheeks and there I also need to find the bag where I have the special colors for that and now after some good hours work with the needle, he is ready to come with me out in the nature, where I right now have the most fantastic “burning” colors as background and also the beautiful Christmas trees to give the right atmosphere for a Pixie. This Pixie is 20 cm high as he sits here.
