Doll Of The Month – April 2017

I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as “Doll of the month”.

Doll of the month for April is this little Peter Pan. I have taken him to my friend Guris wonderful wild garden that is so full of fairytales with big trees and tree-trunks and right now the spring plants explode up from  the ground there. Anywhere we placed Peter Pan he looked like he had always lived in this garden. I nearly could not stop placing him at new spots among them a homemade shelter made from branches. You can see that he has placed his arrow stuck into his long wild hair while he moves around.

Peter Pan is made with my technique for dolls, which means that all the parts of his body are first made separately and then needled together in the position I wanted. I have dyed the hair myself and the wool for his trousers.

Peter Pan is 27 cm high.

The price of him is $165. This includes shipping. Only the one doll is available so if you click on the “Buy Now”-link and the doll has already been sold you will get an error message. Click below if you would like to buy the doll. You will be taken to the website of PayPal where you can pay by credit card (you don’t need a PayPal-account).
