I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".

 

The doll has been sold

The doll of the month for May is this little baby boy who joined me in the garden yesterday on one of the most beautiful days of tender spring. He made this day in the garden very special because he made me look even more at the flowering plants.

He is made with the technique where I first needle all the parts of the body and then needle them together in the position I like for this little person. I then needle shapes on the surface and give him his little face that makes him unique and then I know that if it is difficult to realize that he is going to be sent away, then he is all right, and that is how I feel about this little “spring baby”.

He is very movable and strong enough to be moved and when you move him you will find that he looks almost alive. He is 18 cm high.
