The doll has been sold

I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".

January’s doll of the month is this happy little old man who is made from carded wool that I brought home from a course I gave in Norway where we made pigs. The wool had a colour that was absolutely not good for an ordinary human being, but it inspired me to make an old man who looks like he just came out from the sauna, still blushing from the heat. He is 19 cm high and he is needle felted with the technique I have developed that makes him look very much alive and makes him very movable.
