I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".

Here comes something very different for doll of the month this July. Usually my things are not articles for everyday use, but this is meant for a tea cosy, but can also be used just for a sculpture in the room, a pillow or even for theatre mask as it is hollow and can sit on your head.

The tea cosy troll is wet felted but the finish on it is needled and even sewed. The hair is made of wool from the Norwegian wild sheep. On the backside you will find a real nice troll tail and as you can see it has hands too that can embrace the teacup and keep it warm. The hands can also be used if you play theatre with the troll. The troll is 37 cm high and 34 cm broad.
