I am back again from a wonderfull teaching tour to Humanita Art Center in Switzerland. The title of the course was "Dogs in sheep-clothes".
Walter and Maya Stenz owns Humanita Art Center and it is a wonderfull place to teach. It is lying in a narrow valley down at the Italian border and the buildings are the original stonehouses, that are completely restored inside and then there is a beautiful wooden house for the courses.
The place is a hotel too and they have also frequently music events.
Maya herself is a very good feltmaker, who has started her own felteducation at the center, where she teaches herself and where international known feltmakers come and teach as a part of this education.

Maya Stenz, Who also joined the course.

The theme of the course was "Dogs in Sheep Clothes" and Maya had washed many felted fleeces, that the students could choose between for the dogs they learned to felt.
They felted a big dog of the felted fleece and a little dog with loose stables.
Anita has chosen this nice white fleece and her dog was of course named
"princess dog".
