I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".

The doll has been sold

The doll of the month for June is this little angel baby that flies around with a happy and attentive look. The inspiration to make him came when I worked on last months doll (a little spring boy that climbed in the flowering trees). I imagined how nice it would be to let such a being fly around as a happy little angel baby - so here he comes... flying.

He is made with the technique where I first needle all separate parts of the body and then needle them together in the position I want and add shapes on the surface of the body. The face is made with the latest technique I developed and of course he got little fat angel cheeks. The hair and the wings come from my favorite sheep that once wandered around in the Swiss Alps. He is 22 cm high.
