I am often contacted by visitors who would like to buy dolls they have seen in the picture galleries. But all of these dolls have been made as part of projects or have been pre-ordered a long time before they were made. Due to lack of time I only make a very limited number of dolls each year, but I have decided to make some of these dolls available on Feltmaking.com as "Doll of the month".
The doll has been sold
The doll of the month for March is a human being that has taken the body of an eagle. I have been working on an eagle project for almost a year now and made many variations of eagles such as reliefs, flying eagles, eagle heads, etc. and I think that because I had these eagle ideas in my mind all the time, this idea for doll of this month suddenly stood there, clear and ready to be made.
The wool that I have used for this eagle is the same kind of wool that I have used before for my eagle project. It is spelsau lamb wool and it is perfect to give the image of the feathers of the eagle. The pointed end of the stable has a wonderful red brown color and down towards the cutted end the grey mix gives a very good effect. The size of the eagle man is 45 cm,
The price is $ 380 (USD) and this includes shipping. Only the one dolls is available so if you click on the order-link and the dolls has already been sold you will get an error message.
Click here if you would like to buy the doll. You will be taken to the website of CCNow where you can enter your order details. Your credit card will not be charged untill the doll has been sent.
