Every month at this time I use to announce the new doll of the following month for sale, but there will be no doll of the month in September as I am going to Alaska to teach from September 6.-20. I am sure I will come back with a lot of good photos to share in a new picture gallery.

The Danish version of my new book: DYREFILT med filtenålen (Animal felt using the felt needle) is now published.
You can see the cover of the book on the Danish version of my website.
The English translation of the book will be ready in the autumn 2007.

The doll of this month is the little mermaid. She is made with the technique, where all parts of the body are made separate and then needled together in the position that fits for the expression. As you can see, she is sitting on a felted stone that is a part of the sculpture.
I have dyed the hair myself but all the blue colour shades on her body are dyed of May Hvistendahl from Norway and the doll is actually made while I gave a course at Mays place and got inspired of the surroundings and her wonderful rainbow dyed colours.
