This semester ended with a course in a weaving and textile union here in Denmark. Many of the students chosed to make babies and I was so fascinated of this photo with the Sweedish Katarina and her baby, so I had to share it with you.

The doll of the month for June is this little angel baby that flies around with a happy and attentive look. The inspiration to make him came when I worked on last months doll (a little spring boy that climbed in the flowering trees). I imagined how nice it would be to let such a being fly around as a happy little angel baby - so here he comes... flying.

I just returned from a course-tour to the firm Filzrausch in Germany.The theme was ANIMAL FELT and it was so exiting and really wonderfull to se how the different animals grew out of the carded -and the raw fleece.
Many people think it is very difficult to make an animal, but the students use my technique, where they learn to devide the animal´s body in parts and analyse the proportions and it is in fact easier to make an animal than to make the human body.
