The doll of the month for January 2009 is a real winter figure - an Ice Queen that finds her best place out in the frozen nature where she - with her white body - fits to the surroundings and specially the frozen lake. She will though fit perfectly for a marble surface or another kind of stone surface, maybe in a winter garden or in a windowsill.

This year my Christmas Exhibition is at a beautiful house build in Colonian style, lying with a park down to the ocean. This house was once home for a well known Danish artist called Gunnar Aagaard Andersen who in periods hosted many of the artists from Paris. I exhibit with other art and craft people and some of the days we show our different techniques.

The doll of the month for December is Father Christmas. He is rather big and he is ment to hang on the wall or in a window where he spreads a real good Christmas atmosphere. He can also hang on a sheepskin and the skin will then look like it is his body.

My new book is now published |

My new book FILT-NEMT OG SJOVT (FELT EASY AND FUN) has now been published. The idea behind this book is that all the figures are made from the same easy basic shapes and these shapes are needle felted and then put together. The fun about it is, that you can move the different parts of the figure so it changes and in a way get another expression.
That makes it suitet for playing and for making theatre.
As my other books, this book will be translated to English.

I am an 85 year old woman that finally got up the courage to try needle felting. Wanted to try it 3 years ago but wasn't brave enough. Now I have.... and you are by far my favorite author..... I have your 3 books. and was delighted with the lion I did from one of them. Thank you for showing me the way......Jean
