I will be teaching and joining the Danish feltunion´s jubilee from July 28.- Aug .5.

There will be no doll of the month in August as I have been busy working on my things for the Grima jubilee exhibition.

The Danish feltunion Grima has 20 years jubilee and there will be a big celebration starting July 28. where feltmakers from many countries will meet at the city square in Silkeborg dressed in felt creations and then we will walk through the town to a school and have a big celebration fiest. At the fiest there will be a presentation of a new Danish felt book with 30 Danish feltmakers participating. The publisher is FIBER FEBER and the book is called "Filte Fantasier".
The next 5 days there will be courses and workshops and all over the town and there will be felt exhibitions. A very rare and special historical exhibition will be at Silkeborg Museum where felted antique things from Afghanistan, Iran and Mongolia brought home of famous explorers will be shown. Many of these felted things will usually lie on stock at the national museum so this is a great opportunity to see them.

I have just finished the last needling on the three felted things I want to exhibit at the Danish felt union "Grimas" finternational felt event.They celebrate that they were founded 20 years ago.
I have made a long relief called "A changing Landscape" that is made so you can lift a kind of pages and find 11 new landscapes with new motives.
Then I have made a big sitting eagle and a marten using raw fleece on the surface.
Another project is that I have just read the proofs of my pages for the new book about 30 Danish feltmakers, that is beeing published this summer.
And then we have a wonderfull summer here, that I enjoy in my new studio. Both local people and exiting tourists come to visit the place. A very nice family from Greenland came
and we found out that we had common acquainted in Qaqortoq, where I made a project years ago.
